This dog is in a fosterhome in: Murphys, California Here is Eddie Rascal, whose name says it all! This little 10-lb. guy is quite the charmer, and has earned the nicknames Smiling Ed, "Fast" Eddie, and Smooth Operator. Eddie is believed to be about 5 years old, but since he had been dumped off in an overnight box at the animal shelter with no background info, this is just an estimate. He obviously had a good family life, as he's very people oriented. He loves being next to you and enjoys having his tummy rubbed. Eddie get along with his canine foster siblings, from 15 lb. to 80 lbs., as well as a healthy-sized cat. But he has a personality that would make him suitable as an only dog as well. Because of his small size, Eddie should be well supervised when young children are around, and he would likely do best in an adults-only household. He is crate trained and housetrained, and is very comfortable using the doggie door to go in and out to potty. Eddie is a very handsome fellow, with chocolate brown coloring and beautiful unique markings; he is likely part dachshund, with short legs, a longer body, and natural tail. He has a pronounced underbite, so he is constantly "smiling," making him look so endearing! Eddie is good on his leash and loves to go for walks, so makes a great, easy-going walking partner, or he is also very happy just chilling next to you on the couch.
