Hi Pit Fans! My name is Brutus. I was wandering in the riverbed dragging a 6' chain for days before a Good Samaritan rescued me. I am now in a foster home with five other large dogs- 4 females and 1 other male. People think I am between 16 -24 mos. I am a strong, athletic and energetic dog. I like to roughhouse with my foster siblings. I am learning my manners 101. I know sit and lie down. I am trying hard to learn the stay command. I am eager to please and am a good listener. I sleep quietly all night in my crate. I am earning some really good house privileges. I like to be with my person and lie quietly while my foster parents are on their computer, eating dinner or watching TV. My foster dad takes me on a 2 mile run twice a day. I am not a digger or a big barker. I alert my foster parents when I sense they need to know something otherwise I am pretty mellow. I sleep in the back yard most of day. I have an interest in my toys, but I really want someone to play with me. I like ice cubes and steak is my favorite treat. I rollover and ask for my belly to be rubbed A LOT! Occasionally, I give my paw. My foster mom says I am really smart and quick learner. I like to chase horses, so, no horses for me. I met a Chihuahua by accident and we played and played. My foster parents have not cat tested me yet and I have not been around any children. I need a good and strong pack leader. I can jump a 4.5' fence, so, I need a secure yard with at least a 6' fence. My foster parents are sending me to camp and I cant wait! So be sure and check back with me for an update!
