Description
Cookie's story as told from OC Animal Care where FBR got cookie from: (included are pictures of before and after) "Cookie Female pit bull, part of a cruelty case where she and another dog were neglected. The other dog starved to death and Cookie was very close to starvation when she came in. At her original impound, she only weighed 19 #. She was weak and emaciated. Now she is big and strong, over 40#. Her only problem now is that since she has been here since September, she has developed some barrier aggression issues when other dogs pass her kennel. The other dog she was with before was a poodle, so at one point she was OK with other animals. In the kennel she is pretty submissive and playful acting. After 5 mos of over-stimulation, she needs a new environment. " Cookie is now just as sweet as her name would imply :) Can you give this wonderful girl a second chance at a good home? All of FBR's dogs come with a "New Parents Information" folder and receive a free professional grooming prior to going to their new home :)
